PROFILE DR SAMEER VARMA (M.S., FELLOW SNC)

Dr Sameer Varma after completing his post graduation(ophthalmology) in 2003, went on to pursue fellowship at Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya , Chitrakoot.

There he did two years comprehensive ophthalmology fellowship , followed by two years of fellowship in oculoplasty. During his tenure at Chitrakoot ,he worked as a high volume surgeon, performing over sixteen thousand cataract surgeries, with remarkable and significant exposure in paediatric cataract & glaucoma surgeries.

He did there approximately two thousand lacrimal surgeries and more than four thousand lid surgeries during his two years oculoplasty fellowship.

After his fellowship at Chitrakoot Dr Varma joined Eye Q Superspeciality Eye Hospital and worked at Haldwani in the capacity of clinical incharge. He looked after the Dept of cataract & refractive surgery. Here as a comprehensive ophthalmic surgeon he performed cataract , oculoplasty, glaucoma, paediatric cataract surgery& lasik from 2007 to 2017
